π₯ Strengthening Maternal and Newborn Healthcare Through EMONC Training
Adolphus Obi Memorial Hospital is proud to host an Emergency Maternal, Obstetric and Nebotal Care (EMONC) Training, bringing together healthcare professionals from various health facilities to strengthen life-saving skills in maternal and newborn care.
The training covers the management of obstetric emergencies, including postpartum haemorrhage (PPH), quality care during labour and delivery, newborn care, and the principles of Respectful Maternity Care, ensuring that every mother receives safe, dignified, and compassionate treatment throughout her healthcare journey.
We are honoured to have trainers, midwives, facility in-charges, and healthcare workers from facilities including Nkwazi Clinic, Masala Clinic, and other government health institutions, alongside our partners from King Global Healthcare Partnership.
Through practical demonstrations, simulations, and knowledge sharing, participants are enhancing their ability to provide timely, evidence-based, and patient-centred care that saves lives.
Together, we are investing in healthier mothers, healthier babies, and stronger communities.
