P.S. in the midst of it all
By the grace of Royalty Holy Spirit Christ in Spirit and in Truth, through Forgiveness, Love, Compassion, Justice, and Service, the Jairos Jiri Association (Holy Betty Foundation) continues its humanitarian, charitable, community development, and advocacy mission across Zimbabwe, Southern Africa, and beyond.
https://www.facebook.com/share/17iU94pUEF/
As a Royalty Holy Spirit-inspired humanitarian charity, community development, and empowerment movement, we serve persons with disabilities, orphans, vulnerable children, widows, older persons, disadvantaged families, refugees, asylum seekers, migrants, displaced persons, and communities affected by poverty, rising prices, unemployment, disasters, conflict, and hardship.
We humbly acknowledge that many of our buildings, facilities, equipment, furniture, and infrastructure have faithfully served generations for decades. Like all physical structures, they have a lifespan and now require renovations, repairs, modernization, refurbishment, extension, maintenance, and upgrading to continue serving people safely, effectively, and with dignity.
We therefore appeal to family, friends, local communities, churches, businesses, philanthropists, charitable foundations, humanitarian organisations, the Zimbabwean and Southern African Diaspora, and friends worldwide to partner with us. Every contribution matters—from as little as one cent to major donations, sponsorships, partnerships, equipment, technology, livestock, professional expertise, volunteer service, employment opportunities, and long-term investments.
Fundraising priorities include:
Renovations, extensions, refurbishment, redecorating, and refurnishing facilities.
Modern technology, computers, internet connectivity, and communication equipment.
Farming, irrigation, livestock, poultry, and other income-generating projects.
Food, clothing, blankets, and emergency humanitarian relief.
Medical equipment, assistive devices, rehabilitation, and disability support services.
Educational materials, scholarships, vocational training, and empowerment programmes.
Musical instruments, arts, culture, sports, and recreation.
Water, sanitation, renewable energy, transport, and vehicle maintenance.
Staff salaries, caregiver support, volunteer development, and operational sustainability.
Employment creation, entrepreneurship, and community development programmes.
We also support peaceful, lawful, humanitarian, and community-centred advocacy for:
The protection, dignity, rights, and inclusion of persons with disabilities.
Orphans, vulnerable children, widows, older persons, caregivers, and disadvantaged families.
Refugees, asylum seekers, migrants, and displaced persons seeking safety, dignity, and opportunity.
The humane treatment and protection of people fleeing war, conflict, persecution, disasters, and humanitarian crises.
Preventing vulnerable people, especially children and persons with disabilities, from being returned to situations where their safety, dignity, or lives may be at serious risk.
Ending child marriage, forced marriage, exploitation, abuse, trafficking, neglect, and harmful practices, including musengabere and other practices that undermine human dignity and wellbeing.
Protecting women, girls, boys, and vulnerable adults from violence, abuse, and exploitation.
Family wellbeing, responsible parenting, child protection, and safeguarding.
Peacebuilding, reconciliation, forgiveness, social harmony, and non-violence.
The protection of innocent civilians affected by conflict, political instability, unrest, violence, or humanitarian emergencies.
Food security, nutrition, climate resilience, sustainable agriculture, and poverty reduction.
Access to healthcare, rehabilitation, mental health support, education, employment, accessibility, and equal opportunities.
Community resilience against droughts, floods, disease outbreaks, economic shocks, and disasters.
Ethical leadership, accountability, transparency, justice, and community participation.
Human dignity, equality, compassion, inclusion, and hope for all people.
We recognise that many people from Zimbabwe and Southern Africa have sought opportunities, safety, education, employment, and a better future across the world. To our brothers and sisters in the Diaspora and to friends of Southern Africa everywhere, your support can help preserve a legacy of service while building stronger, more inclusive, and more resilient communities for future generations.
As Scripture reminds us:
"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." (Galatians 6:2)
"Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord." (Proverbs 19:17)
"Whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for Me." (Matthew 25:40)
"Arise and build." (Nehemiah 2:18)
Together, through Faith, Forgiveness, Love, Truth, Compassion, and Action, we can restore what is ageing, strengthen what is struggling, protect the vulnerable, empower communities, and create lasting hope.
Every donation, prayer, partnership, act of advocacy, volunteer effort, employment opportunity, and act of kindness makes a difference.
Yavo Yose. May God richly bless every giver, supporter, advocate, volunteer, partner, and friend around the world. ❤️🙏🏿🌍
