A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has continued to pray for and support our mom, Dorothy. ❤️

We’re grateful to share that she has now completed four dialysis sessions, and we have seen some improvement in her kidney function. Next week, the doctors will be carrying out further tests to assess how her kidneys are functioning on their own. Thereafter, they will advise us on whether continued dialysis will be necessary and whether we will need to proceed with a nephrostomy procedure to help relieve pressure on her kidneys.

As we continue navigating this journey, we are kindly asking for financial assistance towards her ongoing treatment, dialysis, and possible nephrostomy procedure. We are currently gathering the full costing for the nephrostomy and will update everyone once we have confirmed figures. However, from what we understand so far, the costs, including hospital bills, specialists, and related treatment, may be in the region of approximately US$4,000.

We remain hopeful and deeply appreciative of every prayer, message, contribution, and act of kindness shown to our family during this time. Thank you for standing with us. 🙏

Dear Victory Circle family 🤍

6 weeks flew by and so the reassessments began. We have gone through a series of follow-up tests and scans and consulted a number of specialists to help the doctors get a clearer picture of Dorothy’s progress.

At the moment, we are facing some challenges with her kidney function, and this has become the main focus of treatment for now. The doctors have recommended that she begin dialysis sessions as they work on stabilizing her condition and determining the best way forward.

While this has been an unexpected turn in the journey, we remain hopeful, prayerful, and encouraged by the support surrounding us. We continue to trust God for strength, healing, and wisdom for the medical team handling Mom’s care.

Thank you all for the continued prayers, messages, love, and support. Please continue to keep Mom in your prayers as we take this journey one step at a time. 🌻

We are so grateful to share that Mom is finally back home! What a milestone this is for all of us.

Brachytherapy has been completed, and now we wait patiently…we understand that it will take some time for the full results to show. She is scheduled to return to Harare in six weeks for her review.

We want to thank each and every one of you, once again, for your love, your prayers, your messages, your practical support, and your constant encouragement. You have truly carried us through this season. Mom has felt surrounded, covered, and strengthened, and so have we.

Please continue to keep her in your prayers as she rests and recovers at home❤️❤️❤️

Hey fam 🤍

With hearts overflowing with gratitude, we thank God that Mom has officially completed her chemo-radiation treatment 💃🏽

She has been incredibly strong through it all, steady, resilient, and full of quiet courage. Watching her show up day after day has been nothing short of inspiring. She truly embodies strength and grace under pressure.

At her recent review, we received encouraging news: the tumour has shrunk to 50% of its original size. That is no small victory, and we are deeply, deeply grateful.

She has since begun brachytherapy (internal radiation therapy), which will be done over three sessions across two weeks. This marks the next step in her treatment journey, and we continue to trust God for full healing and steady progress.

Right now, she is listening closely to her body, resting as much as she can and nourishing herself intentionally, feeding her body with all the good things it needs to recover and rebuild. We are taking it one day at a time.

We are so thankful for the incredible medical team, the doctors, nurses, radiation technicians, and every staff member who has cared for her with such diligence and kindness. Every act of care has mattered.

To our family and friends in Harare and beyond, who have supported us beyond hospital visits, thank you! The laughter, the normal moments, the companionship- it has all lifted her spirit in ways we cannot fully express.

And to everyone near and far who has prayed, checked in, sent messages, and stood with us, please know that your love carries us. Truly. Knowing there is such a wide circle of support around Mom strengthens her more than you may realise.

As she continues with brachytherapy, we kindly ask that you keep praying for her strength, comfort, provision, and complete healing.

Grateful to share that Dorothy has completed 13 days of chemo-radiation. By God’s grace, her side effects have been manageable, and we’re taking this journey one day at a time, trusting Him with every step. Thank you for the continued prayers and support 🤍

Day 8 out of 23 of chemo and radiation therapy is done 🙏
We are so grateful to God for minimal side effects, a faith-filled heart, and a positive attitude that continues to carry Dorothy through each day.

Update 💛

We wanted to share that Dorothy will be starting her treatment this coming Monday. We are walking into this next phase with faith, hope, and trust in God’s grace.

We are so deeply grateful for every message, every prayer, every share, and every word of encouragement. Your support has truly carried us in ways you may never fully know.

As treatment begins, we kindly ask that you continue to keep Mommy in your prayers- for strength, peace, healing, and comfort through every step of this journey.
