Today, the nation commemorates Defence Forces Day and we join the country in recognising and appreciating the dedication, courage and commitment of our Defence Forces in safeguarding Zimbabwe’s peace, security and national development at Chinhoyi Stadium anchored by this year's imperative theme: "Guaranteeing Peace and Stability for the Attainment of Vision 2030". The day provides an opportunity to bring quality, integrated and accessible health services closer to communities, while raising awareness on family planning, adolescent and youth sexual reproductive health, HIV prevention, self-care, menstrual health and overall wellness.
