If grief feels heavy in your body —
tight chest,
tense shoulders,
shallow breath —
that’s where we work.
Slow.
Supported.
No performance.
This week’s class is designed for nervous systems that feel tired.

DM “soft” if you want the schedule.

If pushing through worked… you wouldn’t still feel this way.

High-functioning grief looks like:
• Staying busy
• Overcommitting
• Avoiding stillness
• Performing strength

But pushing activates fight or flight.

That’s why you may feel:
Tension.
Anxiety.
Irritability.
Shallow breath.

Your nervous system doesn’t respond to pressure.
It responds to safety.

💛 Micro-regulation tool:
Press your feet into the floor.
Take one slow exhale longer than your inhale.
Do that three times.

Small safety signals shift big patterns.

Comment “ground” if you tried it.

Feeling stuck or numb lately?

Freeze can feel like:
“I don’t care.”
“I can’t start.”
“I feel flat.”

It’s a protective shutdown after too much.

Instead of forcing productivity,
try this:

💛 Choose one 30-second task.
Complete it.
Stop.

Completion builds safety.
Safety builds momentum.

Share this with someone who feels stuck.

Why are you exhausted… even when you’re resting?

If you’ve been:
• Sleeping but waking up tired
• Cancelling plans last minute
• Struggling to focus
• Snapping more easily

This could be grief fatigue.

When something meaningful shifts or ends, your nervous system shifts into protection.

Protection mode conserves energy.
It slows you down.
It narrows focus.
It reduces output.

This isn’t laziness.
It’s biology.

💛 Try this today:
Lower one expectation by 20%.
Not everything needs full capacity right now.

Grief changes capacity.
That’s not failure.

Save this for the days you think you’re just “being unmotivated.”

If you feel different lately…

Less motivated.
More sensitive.
Easily overwhelmed.
Quieter than usual.

It may not be burnout.
It may not be laziness.

It might be grief.

And grief doesn’t only follow death.

It can follow:
• The end of a relationship
• A version of yourself
• A job
• A move
• A future you imagined

Grief shifts your capacity.

💛 Micro-support:
Instead of asking,
“Why am I like this?”
Try:
“What did I lose recently?”

That question softens the nervous system.

Comment “felt” if this resonated — you’re not alone here.

Sometimes it looks like:
• Snapping at people you love
• Feeling unusually tired
• Cancelling plans
• Brain fog
• Not caring about things you used to

When something meaningful shifts or leaves — your nervous system goes into protection.

That protection can look like:
→ Irritability (fight)
→ Anxiety (flight)
→ Numbness (freeze)

Nothing is wrong with you.

💛 Micro-support:
Place one hand on your chest.
Take one slower exhale than inhale.
Just once.

Your body will register that as safety.

You don’t need to solve it.
Just notice it.

Save this for the days you feel “off” as a gentle reminder 🫶

A reminder that we don’t always need to be rushing from one thing to the next.

Or having calendars that are booked back to back.

A little breathing room, goes a long way.

🤍

Your body doesn’t heal in urgency.
It heals when it feels safe.

Stillness isn’t doing nothing... it’s giving your nervous system the conditions it needs to repair, rebalance, and restore.

So grateful for these 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 reviews of people's experience working with me. 🤍

We'll go by 'A' to protect her privacy. This is what she had to say:

I was fortunate enough to experience trauma informed chair yoga for the very first time with beautiful JuahaRa. Her gentle way of bringing a deep aspect of awareness and consciousness into this practice was extremely calming, creating safety and trust to experience a type of going within with the benefits of movement and a wonderful, gentle, yet effective stretch. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it to absolutely anyone even if you have always found the idea of yoga daunting. I believe that there is great potential for each of us to heal ourselves by regular practice of yoga. Thank you JuahaRa for your wonderful offering. Love and light, A

If tou have been feeling the gentle pull to move your body, or create a more mindful connection with self, I invite you to reach out today. Your future self will thank you🤍
