✨ WHY WE’RE CHANGING THE WAY WE TOUCH UP BROWS ✨

Our new brow protocol may recommend lightening old pigment with our tattoo removal machine before your next touch-up and there’s a very good reason why. 🤎

Over time, some components of brow pigment fade faster than others. Red and yellow pigments tend to break down and fade more readily, while carbon-based black pigment can be much more persistent in the skin. This can leave older brows looking darker, cooler, grey or overly saturated.

Simply adding more pigment on top each year can create pigment build-up rather than giving you the soft, fresh brows you’re looking for.

By doing one or more removal/lightening sessions first when needed, we can reduce excess old pigment and create a cleaner base before refreshing the shape and colour.

✨ Softer, more natural healed results
✨ Better colour correction
✨ More freedom to improve the shape
✨ Healthier long-term approach to permanent brows

Not every client will need removal. Your brows will be assessed individually, and we’ll recommend it only when we feel the existing pigment is too saturated for another touch-up.

Permanent makeup should be maintained with the long-term result in mind not simply covered with more pigment. 🤍
