The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority, in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Child Care Zimbabwe, has commissioned a 2,134-unit LED Lighting Retrofitting Project at Victoria Chitepo Provincial Hospital in Mutare.
This major initiative has significantly improved energy efficiency, reducing electricity consumption by 12.2% (from 160kW to 140kW), while enhancing lighting quality across the hospital.

Mutare Polytechnic students, in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Childcare Zimbabwe, have donated 76 blankets to Victoria Chitepo Provincial Hospital as part of the National Studies module. The donation will support the Female Ward and other patients receiving care at the hospital. This initiative enhances community support services within healthcare.
