The UNITED Phase 2 trial, published in The Lancet Oncology, brings an important finding to glioblastoma care: MRI-guided adaptive radiotherapy enabled a 40% reduction in treatment volumes while maintaining a low rate of marginal failure.

With a 4% marginal failure rate, compared with the 11% historical benchmark, the study adds to the growing evidence that adaptive, image-guided treatment can enable more precise radiation delivery while reducing exposure to healthy brain tissue.

A meaningful step toward more targeted treatment, less unnecessary irradiation, and greater precision in care.
