Sports massage may consist of a combination of deep tissue massage techniques, assisted stretching and/or remedial exercise for anyone with niggling

sports injuries, repetitive stress injuries or postural problems. It also helps to prevent injuries and keep muscles in peak condition. This makes it ideal for anyone training for or recovering from a big sporting event or season. A full consultation is given to determine the best course of treatment including medical history, lifestyle, activity levels and a physical assessment looking at posture, range of passive, active and resisted movements and soft tissue symptoms. Cooperation with the client’s medical practitioner or trainer is sometimes necessary and referral to a wide network of suggested clinical specialists is available if required.
