✨ I’m Ayesha - a Functional Nutritionist specialising in gut health, hormones, skin issues + functional testing.

✨ But honestly, this work became personal long before it became my career.

✨ Years ago, I struggled deeply with my own health + skin. It affected my confidence, my mental health, and how I felt in myself every single day. I remember feeling frustrated, overwhelmed + constantly searching for answers.

✨ What changed everything for me was understanding that symptoms are never random. Your body is always trying to communicate with you.

💩 That journey is what led me into functional nutrition and root-cause testing - because I know what it feels like to be told everything is “normal” when you know something still isn’t right.

Iron-rich, protein-packed, and only 2 ingredients ✨

One of my favourite easy recipes for supporting energy and blood sugar without overcomplicating meals. These wraps are naturally gluten-free, high in protein, and so easy to customise.

Save this recipe 🤍

🥬 Ingredients
•2 eggs
•1 cup spinach
•Optional: sea salt, garlic powder, black pepper + nutritional yeast

Method

Blend eggs and spinach until smooth + optional ingredients
Pour into a non-stick pan and spread into a thin wrap shape.
Cook for 2–3 minutes, flip, then cook for another 1–2 minutes. Fill with your favourite fillings and enjoy.

✨ Filling ideas - Avocado, turkey, grilled chicken, hummus, cucumber, feta, or leftover veg.

But you still feel:

The truth? Colonoscopy and endoscopy are helpful - but they don’t tell you how your gut is functioning. They look at structure - not balance, inflammation, or microbial activity.

I don’t do detoxes… I go back to foundations.

When I feel a little off-track after travel, busy days, or changes in routine, I don’t reach for extremes — I focus on simple habits that support my body.

✔️ Balanced meals to stabilise blood sugar

✔️ Hydration with electrolytes
✔️ Gentle tools like LED light therapy
✔️ And when needed - functional testing to understand what my body actually needs

Magnesium glycinate is often recommended for sleep…
But what if it actually makes your sleep worse?

I see this more often than people realise.

Some people feel:
•Wired instead of sleepy
•Racing thoughts
•Waking during the night
•No improvement at all

That doesn’t mean magnesium isn’t right for you - it may mean that form isn’t right for your body.

And sometimes…sleep issues aren’t about magnesium at all.

Chocolate Energy Nut Clusters 🍫⚡

One of my favourite sweet snacks when I want something indulgent but still supportive of steady energy.

Made with nuts for healthy fats and protein, plus a little MCT oil for an extra energy-supporting boost.

These honestly never last long in my fridge.

Save this recipe 👇

Ingredients
•100g dark chocolate
•1-2 tsp MCT oil
•1 cup mixed nuts

Method

Break chocolate and add MCT oil, melt gently, drizzle over nuts, then chill until set. Enjoy!

💩 Most people don’t talk about their poo… but honestly, it can tell you so much about what’s going on inside your gut.

I can’t tell you how many times clients come to me thinking their digestion is “normal”… and when we actually talk about their bowel habits, it turns out they’re going every few days, straining, seeing undigested food, or constantly feeling bloated.

And the truth is - your 💩 poo doesn’t lie.

Things like constipation, floating stools, loose stools, or even changes in colour or consistency can all be signs that something deeper is going on in the gut.

It might be poor digestion, imbalanced bacteria, sluggish gut motility, or issues breaking down fats properly.

But because so many people feel embarrassed talking about it, they ignore it - and carry on thinking it’s just “their normal.”

One of the biggest things I say to clients is this: Your bowel habits are one of the clearest windows into your gut health.

If things don’t feel right, it’s usually your body trying to tell you something.

And this is exactly why I use functional stool testing in clinic-because it takes the guesswork out and shows us what’s actually happening inside the gut.
