These solid inventions are formulated with little to no water, so they don't need any synthetic preservatives and make it easy to do away with plastic with our solid shampoo bars, conditioners, soaps, scrubs, massage bars, bath oils and more. ✨

If you visited our store recently you may be wondering why we have removed all of our potted testers. Lush as a company has collectively made the decison to remove all the communal testers until further notice. If you wish to try our products, a member of our staff will always be willing to show you or make a smaple for you to try at home. We're still here to offer a 5* consultation and help you find your perfect product. We'll just be doing things a little different for now.

Since we are universally known as “that soap shop” we’re using our shop windows to promote the hand-washing guidelines as advices by the NHS in the up and other public health organizations around the world .
Over the years we have consistently promoted hand-washing bar soap, both because we believe that it is better for the environment than liquid hand wash unrecyclable plastic pumps and also because it is a tried and tested route to the best hygiene
The winter months are always a time when hand hygiene matters because of coughs and cold pass around, but the current situation with the spread of new Coronavirus means that it is more important than ever that people regularly wash their hands and observe best practice. It is also important that people understand the full effective routine of washing as advised by the health authorities to maximum the removal of germs.

At the moment it’s up to all of us to do what we can to prevent the spread of the illness. The advice from authorities is the wash hands regularly, particularly before eating and to avoid touching your face. We know there are practicalities to being able to wash your hands when out and about. We thought that offering our shops gives somewhere for the public to do this without having to seek out public toilets ( a diminishing resource these days). There will be no requirements to purchase anything - our soaps , our skincare and our shops will be available for anyone to use as a free service
