The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word ‘Rei’ which means God's Wisdom or the Higher Power and ‘Ki’ which means life force energy. Reiki is not affiliated with any particular religion or religious practice. This life force energy flows through all of us, and through the universe.
Reiki is a Japanese spiritual healing practice, where the practitioner channels this life force energy and uses it for healing. Reiki works at the level of mind, body and spirit, thus making truly deep healing possible. The treatment can be administered as a hands on technique or through distance healing.
