A tired brain doesn't think like a rested one.

Mental fatigue can impair attention, judgment, and decision-making, turning even simple tasks feel more challenging than they really are.

Have you ever wondered why your best ideas often come in the shower?

When you're deeply focused, your brain is engaged in task-oriented thinking, solving problems, analyzing, and making decisions.

But during quiet moments, like taking a shower, going for a walk, or simply resting, a different brain network becomes active, known as the Default Mode Network (DMN), it helps your brain connect ideas, process experiences, and generate creative insights.

Sometimes, the best way to solve a problem isn't to think harder, it's to give your brain the space to think differently.

It's more than just a myth!

During pregnancy, your brain adapts to one of the most significant transformations your body will ever experience: Hormonal changes, disrupted sleep, emotional demands, and physical fatigue all place new demands on the brain.

Together, these changes can temporarily affect attention, memory, and concentration making "pregnancy brain" a real experience for many women.

PCOS affects hormone balance and can cause symptoms that may feel similar to early pregnancy signs.

Both may involve:
• Missed or irregular periods
• Bloating
• Breast tenderness
• Fatigue
• Mood changes

That’s why symptoms alone are not enough to know the cause.

Many people, specially women, feel that resting isn't the difficult part. Allowing themselves to rest is.

They say to themselves: "I should answer those emails."I need do the groceries today."I need to be more productive. »

Over time, the brain can begin to associate being busy with being valuable.
So even when the body needs a break, the mind keeps sending signals to stay in motion.
This is not a sign of laziness. It means your brain may have learned to equate productivity with self-worth.

Resting isn't a reward you have to earn.
Taking breaks helps your brain recover, improve focus, and regulate emotions.
Caring for yourself is just as important as caring for everything else.
Because sometimes, the most productive thing you can do… is pause.

Our brains are naturally wired to remember emotionally charged experiences more vividly than ordinary ones. It's part of how we learn and protect ourselves from repeating situations that once felt uncomfortable.

But guess what? probably you’re the only one still thinking about it.
Most people are far more focused on their own lives than on someone’s past mistakes.

Instead of seeing those memories as proof that something is wrong with you, try viewing them for what they are: evidence that your brain is trying to learn, even when the lesson is no longer needed.

Be kind to yourself. Everyone has moments they'd rather forget.
