How do you know if you’re still operating from survival mode?

Because even after all the healing, the books, the retreats, the personal growth and the wellness routines... your life still feels like something you’re trying to manage rather than fully receive.

One of the biggest things I’ve realised is that high performers become incredibly good at consuming information. 📚

But information is not the same as embodiment.

Embodiment happens when you create enough space to reflect, integrate and actually live the insights you’ve learned long enough for them to become part of who you are.

The truth is, your life will always show you what has truly landed.
🌿 Your health.
🤝 Your relationships.
📈 Your business.
⚡ Your energy.

These are the receipts. ✨

I’ve been thinking a lot recently about what abundance actually looks like.

Not the textbook version.
Not what you see on social media.
Not the “manifest your dream life in five steps” version.

But the real lived expression of abundance.
Funnily enough, it came through grapefruit. 🍊

My partner is currently obsessed with grapefruit and recently came home carrying what must have been ten or twelve of them.

I just stood there laughing, thinking: “𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒐𝒏 𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝒅𝒐 𝒘𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒑𝒆𝒇𝒓𝒖𝒊𝒕?”

But then it struck me.
He simply bought an abundance of the thing that brings him joy.

There was no hesitation.
No scarcity.
No thought process around whether he should limit himself.

I was reminded in that moment that abundance is not always about money.

Sometimes it’s a way of thinking.
A way of receiving.
A way of allowing yourself to fully experience joy without restriction.

For years, I thought abundance looked like hard work, sacrifice and pushing through exhaustion.

But life has slowly shown me something very different.

Abundance is also:
✨ Health
✨ Time
✨ Relationships
✨ Support
✨ Peace
✨ Emotional safety
✨ The ability to deeply enjoy what is already here

I think every new level of life invites us to expand our capacity to receive.

Not just materially, but emotionally too.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that energy is our most valuable asset.

Not time.
Not money.
Energy.

That’s why experiences like .rejuvenation interest me.

A chance to step away from the noise, slow things down, and intentionally invest in recovery.

Because when we feel better, we think better.
We lead better.
We show up better.

In a world that’s always asking us to do more, perhaps the real luxury is giving ourselves permission to pause.

What happens when everybody else becomes the authority of your life… 𝒆𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖? 👀

One of the biggest things I’m noticing with high performers right now is how disconnected many people have become from their own 𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚.

We look outside ourselves for validation, direction and reassurance through bosses, relationships, social media, coaches, trends… even AI 🤖

And slowly, we stop trusting our own energy.

One of the biggest mistakes I see people make with breakfast is thinking they need to eat “Western breakfast foods” to eat well 😶

The truth is, your body doesn’t care whether it’s avocado toast or Turkish breakfast 🙄
It cares whether it’s receiving
✅ nourishment
✅ diversity
✅ minerals
✅ protein
✅ healthy fats and real food

Honestly, if you want a masterclass in that, you need to experience .ae Breakfast.

One of the hardest things for high performers to do is slow down intentionally.

We’re conditioned to believe 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 💥

But when you watch Formula 1 drivers, they slow down before the bend so they can accelerate properly after it.
Life works the same way.

Recently, I tried to “speed up” my healing with a quick fix… and my body responded with inflammation that completely set me back.

It reminded me that:
💕 Expansion needs capacity
💕 Healing needs integration
💕 Growth needs space to land safely

Sometimes slowing down isn’t procrastination.
It’s preparation for the next level your life is asking you to hold.

One of the deepest things I’ve realised about being human is this:

𝙒𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙗𝙞𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩, 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 many of us experience today.

𝙒𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡.
~For scanning the environment for danger.
~For famine.
~For uncertainty.
~For “what if this is my last meal?” energy.

And yet today, many of us have access to things our ancestors could never have imagined:
💥A medical system
💥An abundance of food
💥The ability to travel across the world
💥A roof over our heads
💥Access to information, connection and opportunity at the touch of a button

𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒍𝒍… so many people struggle to feel peace.

Because the nervous system doesn’t automatically update itself just because our external reality changes.

If the body still believes it’s unsafe, it will continue searching for problems, even in beautiful moments.

And this is why regulating our energy matters so deeply.

Because without regulation, it becomes almost impossible to fully receive joy, presence, love or gratitude, even when life is offering them to us.

Standing in front of these roses in the UK this week reminded me of that 🌹
How easy it is to miss beauty when the body is still living in survival mode.

Perhaps what the world needs most right now is not more fear, but more regulated humans.
More kindness.
More softness.
More people who can create safety within themselves and therefore within their homes, relationships and communities.

Because peace is not something we find once the world becomes perfect.
It’s something we learn to access, even while life continues unfolding around us.
