Actually… running is not bad! Bad is to be a coach potato!
we use to say that the pelvic floor suffer when running because during this exercise we generate a lot of pressure inside the core. If the pelvic floor , or any other part of the core, should have strength – endurance and reactivity enough to control the pressure. If the pressure that you generate is bigger than what you can handle, the area receiving the pressure will suffer.
the question is… how much is too much?
Well, I cant tell you 100% because theres not a solution fitting everybody! Now is when my work becomes important! Each person’s pelvic floor has a different tolerance, my job is to teach you were is your limit and how to push it forward!
Maybe you need to adjust the intensity of your exercises for a bit… maybe you need to increase the intensity! If the pelvic floor is not challenged, WONT IMPROVE! As any other muscle.
