In partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the Afghan Family Guidance Association (AFGA) delivers lifesaving reproductive health care, psychosocial support, and emergency humanitarian aid to vulnerable women, girls, and children across Afghanistan. Operating directly on the frontlines of the ongoing humanitarian crisis, this initiative targets seven provinces: Kabul, Herat, Balkh, Jawzjan, Sarepol, Ghazni, and Paktika.
To overcome severe geographic and social barriers in these underserved regions, AFGA manages a specialized medical network consisting of 26 community-based Family Health Houses, two Mobile Health Clinics for remote outreach, and a dedicated Midwifery Helpline for immediate telehealth guidance. Through this integrated approach, the project ensures the continuous delivery of high-quality, essential health services to the country's most isolated populations.
