The Feline Force Protection Program is a critical part of the preventive medicine program on Resolute Support Headquarters in Kabul, Afghanistan. Cats defend their territory, which prevents stray cats from bringing serious diseases onto the base, such as rabies, leptospirosis, and toxoplasmosis. Our program volunteers perform a variety of duties, such as filling sanctioned feeding points, maintaining the clinic, and liaising with the veterinary team.
