Young representatives from People in Focus took part in the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 in 𝘚𝘰𝘧𝘪𝘢, 𝘉𝘶𝘭𝘨𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘢 in the framework of the Shine: Shaping the Future of Europe project. 🌍✨
The academy brought together young people from different countries to explore 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆, 𝗰𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗰 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, and 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 through interactive learning activities, discussions, and teamwork. Participants worked on developing 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀-𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 that encourage community involvement and active participation in democratic processes. 🎙️🤝
During the training, participants:
* 🧠 Explored active participation through podcasts and discussions
* 📢 Developed awareness-raising campaign ideas
* 🎯 Learned how to engage young people and local communities
* 🎲 Tested the Democracy in Play board game
* 🎤 Interviewed youth in Sofia about impactful campaigns and civic participation
The experience created a 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲, and inspiring young people to become more active in their communities. 💙
