COD zhvilloi sot takimin e IV përmbyllës të Ciklit të trajnimit YOUROPA, me temë “Politikat e BE-së për të rinjtë - Erasmus+”, me lektore znj. Ira Topalli dhe znj. Ana Dervishi, nga oraganizata "Beyond Barriers".

Në këtë seancë të rinjtë u informuan për politikat që ndjek BE, për grup-moshën që ata i përkasin, si dhe mundësitë që këto politika ofrojnë për ta në arsim, punësim, aktivizëm social dhe kulturë.

Në fund të takimit të rinjtë pjesëmarrës u pajisën me një certifikatë mbi njohuritë që fituan gjatë këtij trajnimi.

Falënderojmë të gjithë partnerët që na mbështetën European Movement Albania, Beyond Barriers - Pertej Barrierave dhe të rinjtë që u bënë pjesë.

Faleminderit Mary Ward Loreto.

Ekspertiza juaj eshte domosdoshmeri per rehabilitimin e grave qe vuajne denimin ne I.E.V.P nr. 325 Ali Demi Tirane.

Ku ka me mire se mbeshtetja juaj 💥💪

Mary Ward Loreto has initiated a collaboration with Sole Centre who run a project in the women’s jail IEVP, Nr. 325 Ali Demi Tirane. The Sole project is for the reintegration into the community for imprisoned women.

This is through developing employment skills and through human development programmes.

MWL was invited to give its contribution and expertise in psychological empowerment with women inside the jail. The psychologist of MWL Women ACT is offering trainings and self-help group facilitation once a week.

Yllka Metushi has decided, once she will be out of prison she will work as a pastry chef.
The 48-year old was taught in prison on how to prepare pastries as per a Sole Centre’s project which aims hiring female convicts.

"I've been trained for seven months. This is the first month I started working and I have learned how to make different cakes. Today we have coconut cookies. Work is life, but it also helps us relieve stress and sadness", says Yllka.

- Is there going to be only 8 women involved in this project?

"No, this is by choice, every women inmate can join, but there is a lack of legal provisions", says Orjona Hodaj, Executive Director of Sole Centre.

According to the General Director of Prisons, Arben Çuko, apart from confectioner women, there will be another project involving male convicts, who will be employed for the production of benches for the Municipality of Tirana. But, Mr. Çuko’s main goal is to open vocational schools.

"Unfortunately, a lot of young adults come back here, and along with their rehabilitation, their reintegration is needed, so once they leave they can find a job outside prison", says Mr. Çuko.

"There are young people I have accompanied myself with the ready-made group, but time has come for our system to have these type of schools", says the Director of the women prison, Mrs. Xhoi Jakaj

I pari projekt ne llojin e tij ne Republiken e Shqiperise. Faleminderit z. Çuko qe besoi ne kete nisme dhe lejoi implementimin e ketij projekti risi ne vendin tone. Faleminderit stafit te Ievp Ali Demi Tirane, mrekullisht bashkepunues, znj. Jakaj dhe te gjithe atyre qe besuan dhe e mbeshteten kete nisme, pavaresisht veshtiresive te hasura gjate rruges tone.

Jemi te bindur qe punesimi me nje page mujore gjate vuajtjes se denimit, jo vetem do ndikoj pozitivisht ne mireqenien e shendetit mendor te ketyre grave por do ndikoj pozitivisht te femijet dhe familjet e tyre.
