The WB Youth Cultural Fund Closing Conference kicked off with good energy, familiar faces, and a look back at three years of the WB Youth Cultural Fund, a journey that connected young people, artists, cultural workers, and communities across the Western Balkans 🤝
In his welcoming remarks, RYCO Secretary General Vladimir Obradović underlined the importance of continued investment in young people and regional cooperation through culture.
The opening session also featured remarks by Fatmir Limani, Minister of Social Policy, Demography and Youth of North Macedonia, and H.E. Ms. Petra Drexler, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to North Macedonia, who emphasized the strong partnership behind the initiative and its role in supporting youth, dialogue, and reconciliation.
RYCO Deputy Secretary General Kreshnik Loka reflected on RYCO’s decade-long journey and the key milestones of the WB Youth Cultural Fund, which have encouraged young people across the region to connect, create, and cooperate.
Meanwhile, Sherife Ismaili, WB Youth Cultural Fund Project Manager, highlighted the stories, experiences, and achievements that shaped the initiative, emphasizing how culture creates opportunities for collaboration, dialogue, and trust-building among young people.
The evening continued with performances, stories, and moments celebrating the power of youth and culture to bring the region closer together.
