On World Kidney Day, I had the pleasure of presenting “Chronic Kidney Disease: New Insights” to students at University of Vlora ‘Ismail Qemali’.

Beyond the clinical aspects of CKD, we explored an increasingly important topic in nephrology: the environmental impact of dialysis and the concept of carbon footprint in healthcare.

Modern nephrology is not only about treating kidney disease, but also about promoting sustainable and responsible healthcare for the future. 🌍🩺
