How do I stay connected to my body as it changes?�

Sometimes what we need most is simply a space to slow down, breathe, and listen.
On June 23rd, I am opening a gentle Prenatal Yoga & Ayurveda space at Seddwell Center.

I had the joy of spending time with one of the wonderful women I support through her perimenopause and menopause journey with Ayurvedic analysis and personalized guidance.

Hearing her share how much better she feels now—more balanced and connected to herself again—is such a beautiful reminder of why I do this work.

Seeing women gain a deeper understanding of their bodies and move through this transition with more ease and confidence is incredibly rewarding.

Seasonal Yoga Flow: Gentle Spring Awakening 🌿
Today, let’s move together through a gentle yoga sequence for spring — connecting breath, posture, grounding, and renewed energy.

🌱 Routine:
1. Tadasana (Mountain Pose)�Stand tall, root through the feet, lift through the crown of the head.�Benefit: Improves posture, focus, grounding, and presence�Contra: Avoid locking knees; soften stance if dizziness occurs

2. Uttanasana (Forward Fold)�Gently fold forward, releasing neck, shoulders, and back body tension.�Benefit: Calms the mind, stretches the spine and legs, relieves tension�Contra: Modify with bent knees or avoid deep fold with lower back injury

3. Virabhadrasana I (Warrior I)�Grounds the body while lifting upward through the heart and arms, building rooted strength and determination.�Benefit: Improves balance, concentration, leg strength, posture, and inner confidence while opening the chest and supporting deeper breathing�Contra: Knee, hip, shoulder, or lower back sensitivity — shorten the stance, lower the arms, or modify the bend as needed

4. Trikonasana (Triangle Pose)�Extend through both sides of the body while creating openness through the chest and hips.�Benefit: Improves circulation, balance, spinal mobility, and creates a feeling of spaciousness and expansion�Contra: Neck, hamstring, or lower back sensitivity — keep a micro-bend in the knee or place hand higher on the leg

🌿 Reflection & Invitation
