Did you know? That “feeling of being stuck” many Parkinson’s patients describe has a name — and it can be trained.

Freezing of gait can interrupt even the simplest movements. But with the right strategies and targeted gait training, patients can learn to better manage these moments and regain confidence in walking.

Technologies like Lexo and Omego Plus support this process with structured, safe, and adaptable therapy approaches.

How can cognitive and motor therapy be combined in one interactive setup? 🧠

With Myro, therapy integrates sensor-based assessment, task-oriented training, and gamification on a single surface.
By detecting touch, force, and object movement, Myro enables targeted training of upper extremity function while simultaneously addressing cognitive skills such as attention, planning, and coordination.

Using real-life objects within a therapeutic gaming environment, patients perform ADL-oriented tasks with direct feedback — supporting functional recovery in a motivating and versatile way.

A great clinical exchange in Japan!

Our Clinical Application team recently visited Fuchu Hospital in Osaka for a Diego VR training session with a highly motivated and engaged team of occupational therapists.

The hospital specializes in neurological, orthopaedic, and geriatric rehabilitation for adult patients — making individualized, intensive upper extremity therapy an important part of daily clinical practice.

During the training, the therapists explored how Diego VR combines 3D arm and shoulder rehabilitation with motivating virtual reality exercises and intelligent weight support to enable task-oriented therapy and natural movement patterns.

Thank you for the warm welcome, insightful discussions, and inspiring collaboration! 💡

💡 New research on Tymo balance assessment

A validity and reliability study compared the Tymo balance board with a laboratory force platform.

The results show that Tymo provides measurement accuracy comparable to a gold-standard device, with very strong correlation in center of pressure paths.

Clinical validity of the Tymo balance test was demonstrated in stroke patients through its correlations with the Berg Balance Test, and reliability through repeated measurements.

👉 Swipe through to explore the key findings.

A great few days at ISPRM 2026 in Vancouver! 🌎✨

It was a pleasure to connect with so many professionals from the rehab community — with inspiring conversations, valuable insights, and hands-on exchange at our booth.

Myro, Pablo, and Tymo were explored in numerous live demos, with many visitors taking the opportunity to experience our solutions firsthand and discuss their clinical applications.

The strong interest and engaging discussions once again showed how important innovative, motivating, and measurable therapy approaches are in modern rehabilitation.

Thank you to everyone who visited us at the ISPRM Expo and shared their perspectives with us! 🙌

Zurück ins Leben – Schritt für Schritt. 🚶‍♂️

Roboter...
