Footwork doesn’t have to be boring — and yes, it can absolutely leave your muscles burning for days 😊

In our classes, we love adding different footwork variations that not only make the workout more fun and dynamic, but also challenge your control, coordination, stability, and mind-body connection. Small changes in tempo, positioning, or unilateral training can completely transform a classic exercise into something much more effective.

One of the things we often focus on is unilateral training — working one side at a time before switching to the other. This is incredibly beneficial because it helps you become more aware of imbalances, build equal strength on both sides of the body, improve coordination, and create better overall body balance. It also teaches you to move with more control instead of simply rushing through repetitions.

The beauty of Pilates is that even the most basic-looking exercises can become deeply challenging when done with precision, intention, and proper technique. That’s where the real magic happens ✨

The other day, our Hot Mat class accidentally turned into a full Balkan-style class because everyone who showed up spoke the same language 🇷🇸🇭🇷🇧🇦✨

The music, the energy, the jokes, the way we connected — it was honestly such a vibe 🫶🏽

Now I’m seriously thinking about adding more Balkan-style classes in our language, with our music… because this needs to happen 😅

And honestly, even if you’re not Balkan, I feel like you’d LOVE to try this.

Meet the youngest face of Pilatesness!
Ljupka is currently learning to become a Reformer and Mat Pilates instructor, while also completing her final year of education as a Fitnessbetreuerin (fitness trainer and wellness coach).
She is passionate, communicative, warm, and genuinely caring, which makes everyone feel comfortable and welcome in her classes from the very first moment.
Her teaching style is inspired by classical Pilates — simple, controlled, and surprisingly intense. The kind of workout that slowly makes every muscle burn while still feeling good in your body. Or as she likes to say: she’s “killing you slowly” 🤍
