In MiR05 and MiR06, 𝘍M is 0.92 (determined at 30 °C and 37 °C; assumed identical at 25 °C), while in culture media it is 0.89 (at 37 °C). For other media, 𝘍M can be estimated by treating KCl-based media as “seawater” of varying salinity.
