Hands-on eyelid surgery training on the M.A.R.K.O. LID, the layered eyelid training model by eyecre.at. Incision, flap handling and suturing, recorded during a LidSUMMIT hands-on session.

All footage was recorded on the training model, not on a patient. Clips were cropped and upscaled with AI tools (Topaz via Higgsfield); no content was generated or altered beyond that.

Day two of LidSUMMIT Tirol 2026: the eyelid.

Upper and lower blepharoplasty, ptosis correction and levator advancement.

The morning started with surgical anatomy in the lecture hall, the afternoon moved to the stations at the Institute of Clinical and Functional Anatomy, Medical University of Innsbruck.

New this year: the LidSUMMIT OP-Tour on VR headsets. Participants walk through every step of the procedure in 3D before they pick up an instrument, then repeat it on 3D-printed M.A.R.K.O. Lid models and on donor tissue.

Tomorrow is the final day: entropion and ectropion repair, eyelid reconstruction and local flap techniques, followed by 24 ECMEC credits for every surgeon.

The next edition takes place in Innsbruck in spring 2027.

LidSUMMIT Tirol 2026 opened yesterday at the Medical University of Innsbruck: corneal sutures and traumatic wound closure, two surgeons per station, faculty at the table.

Tomorrow we move to the eyelid: blepharoplasty, ptosis correction, levator advancement.
