Im a Clinical Nutritionist and a foodie and I couldn't go past a quality wok, my last wok was electric and Teflon coated (ewww). This is carbon steel and should last beyond me. I'm so excited to try this Mako wok out, not to mention the amazing cookbooks that came with it.

The first thing you eat and drink in the morning can be more important than you think.
The first thing I have is this warm water with lemon or lime juice, salt and turmeric. The salt (Celtic not table) allows the water to enter the cell and boost hydration. The juice and turmeric help with liver detoxification, flushing toxins from the body and stomach acid production. I then wait 20 - 30 mins before following up with breakfast.

These are my new favourite mushrooms of late. They are packed with a nutty flavour, a delicious crunchy texture and are packed with fibre, b vitamins and antioxidants. I fry them lightly in butter and eat them as a side, add them to stir-fries for a crunch and add them to a salad for the same effect. Try something new this week and let me know what you think of these Enoki mushrooms.

Lately this has been my go to hydration drink. It really hits the spot and replaces electrolytes lost during exercise. Just chuck together your watermelon and some coconut water, blend, put it on ice and enjoy.

Starting my day slowly with a healthy breakfast in the sun before it gets too hot. Getting my vitamin D, setting my circadian rhythms, keeping cortisol in check, regulating stress. After I eat this I will ground myself for 10 minutes while drinking my tea and I will be ready for the day.
