Sore wrist or thumb from lifting bub?
You’re not alone!

Try these gentle tips:
✨ Keep your wrist in a neutral position when lifting your baby
✨ Grip with thumb glued to hand
✨ Apply ice to reduce pain and inflammation
✨ Gentle stretches and isometric strengthening can aid recovery

Lower back aching or soreness is very common during pregnancy 🤰 — even if you’ve never experienced back pain before.
Some of the reasons this can happen include:

• Postural changes
• Hormonal changes
• Abdominal separation

As your little one grows, your posture shifts and your rib cage has to expand to make room for baby (and all those extra deep breaths!).

Do you dread turning over in bed at night because of the pain? 😣

✨ Tip:
Instead of turning over to the other side from your back, try rolling onto your hands and knees first, and then over to the other side 💤

This will help limit movement through your pelvis and (hopefully!) make those nighttime position changes a little less dreaded 🌙

Half W Sit – Thread the Needle 🤍

A beautiful way to release upper back tension, especially from holding or feeding your little one 👶✨

Sit in a half W position (only if comfortable on your knees — no knee pain) 🧘‍♀️

Place one hand on the floor for support.

Inhale 🌬️ – reach your free arm up and open the chest behind you
Exhale 💨 – thread that arm through the space between your supporting arm and knee
Inhale 🌬️ – open back up, reaching behind you
Exhale 💨 – thread through again

Repeat 5 times each side 🔁✨
