Grief & Loss may go unnoticed when life continues to move forward. For example, grief and loss are considered more noticed when it’s a death or a break in relationships.

However, grief, complicated grief and loss maybe due to trauma, business loss, financial difficulties , loss in identity, change of purpose or transition from one stage of life to another.

When we experience many of these factors close in time or are secondary factors due to loss and grief it can become increasingly overwhelming.

The heaviest impacts on society stem from unreconciled grief and loss. Additionally, it often leads to isolation, disengagement from our normal social interactions and connection to others.

Grief and loss is not about overcoming it, but rather about walking alongside it with care. And that walk can be deeply painful and lonely.

If you are feeling lost, grief stricken or feeling alone while you navigate big life shifts you may want to consider our support group.

All materials are provided for your comfort eg. warm blankets, cushions, activity sheets, colouring tools. However, people are free to bring their own if they prefer.

Among the teachings shared within the traditions of the Hopi are stories that speak about cycles of balance and change on Earth.
