At Chat Well, we are here to support you to successfully navigate your child’s communication journey. We offer a variety of specialist services to maximise your child's skills. We service all Adelaide suburbs and surrounds.

We work with you and your child either in our Greenacres or Mawson Lakes clinic, your home, or in the school or education setting. We exist to help families live happier lives by providing fun, innovative, holistic and functional therapy services to children and young people. We have a strong emphasis on empowering kids to develop self confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning. We are focused on empowering you with the tools to best support your child’s development at home. Most of all, we pride ourselves in fostering a fun, nurturing and supportive environment where your child's skills can blossom.

As we wrap up Speech Pathology Week, we’re celebrating the incredible ways communication creates possibility to thrive 💛

Communication is so much more than words. It’s connecting with others, expressing who we are, sharing our ideas, advocating for our needs, building relationships and being part of the world around us! 🗣️✨

One of the tools we use in speech sessions is IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) transcription. IPA gives us a way to visually represent the individual sounds in words, helping us identify exactly which sounds a client is using and where they may need support. 🔤🗣️

We’re so proud to support our clients on their individual communication journeys and to celebrate every step, big or small!

✨ Our speech pathologists are sharing some of their favourite therapy toys! 🎉

They may look like “just toys,” but every item in our therapy room has a purpose. Through play, we’re helping children build communication skills, confidence, and meaningful connections.
 
🧮 Abacus – Perfect for tracking speech sound practice while keeping sessions fun and interactive.

🤔 Headbanz – Encourages describing, asking questions, turn-taking, and expanding vocabulary.

🫧 Bubbles – A simple favourite for developing joint attention, requesting, turn-taking, and early communication skills.

🎈 Balloons – Great for encouraging turn-taking, requesting, verbal routines (ready, set….. go!), and implementing Key Word Signs such as ‘more,’ ‘up’ and ‘go’ during play.

📚 Books – Supporting language development, vocabulary, comprehension, storytelling, and early literacy.

🍳 Toy Kitchen – Inspires imaginative play while building social skills, problem-solving, sequencing, and expressive language.

✨ MEET CAITLIN ✨
Caitlin is a passionate and dedicated speech pathologist who loves helping individuals find their own voice 🗣️💛 She has a special interest in AAC and says there is nothing better than seeing someone’s face light up when they realise they can finally be understood 🥹✨

She also supports speech sounds language literacy and feeding and brings so much warmth creativity and care into every session 🌈📚

Outside of work Caitlin is completely obsessed with her sassy cat Olive 🐾👑 loves discovering new food spots 🍜☕ and has recently fallen back in love with reading 📖🤍

We are so lucky to have her on our team 🫶✨
