Some friendly faces from our team meeting last week! 🤝✨

In the disability support industry, teamwork is everything. Team meetings give our support workers the opportunity to connect, share ideas, discuss participant needs, problem-solve challenges, and learn from one another’s experiences.

These catch-ups help ensure we’re all working towards the same goal, providing the highest quality, person-centred support for the people we work with. They also strengthen relationships within our team, creating a supportive and collaborative environment where everyone feels valued.

🎲 Calling all young adventurers! 🎲

We’re excited to announce we have partnered up with Growth, Relationships, Opportunity (GRO) to bring fun, inclusive Dungeons & Dragons sessions to young people in Adelaide’s southern suburbs!

Our very own Josh will be leading the adventures as Dungeon Master, creating a welcoming space where participants can build friendships, develop social skills, use their imagination, and most importantly, have fun!

First session kicks off this Friday!

If you know someone aged 13–18 who loves fantasy, storytelling, gaming, or is simply looking to meet new people in a supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Suitable for NDIS participants and private paying individuals. Participants can attend with their own support worker if required.

What a fantastic day of learning and growth! Mind Over Matter was invited to spend the day with Wondering Wattle, taking part in a workshop for trauma in the disability sector. This explored many areas, some being trauma-informed practice and practical regulation tools for supports. Foti and Griffin gained very valuable insights to strengthen everyday practice within our team. An incredibly informative experience with so many meaningful takeaways that can be applied to the support we provide each day.

The duo headed out into the community for a fun activity day at the Upside Down House, sharing plenty of laughs, new experiences, and a little bit of trippy fun along the way.

One of our amazing participants set a goal to get out into the community more and explore their interests — and what better way than a ghost tour at the Adelaide Gaol! 🏰

With the support of our support worker Olivia, they’re building confidence, trying new experiences, and having a little fun along the way (even if it’s a little spooky 😱).
