Bhetsy & Co Founder Suzanne has over 16 years of industry experience, in both Aged Care and Disability settings. Suzanne is gentle, caring and passionate about delivering quality care to individuals and will work alongside each person and their care team to ensure their needs are met, their goals are achieved and they have control over their decision making. Bhetsy & Co can provide 24/7 support in your home to ensure that you or a loved one have the care and support when it is most needed.

We are a reliable, caring and ethical provider , focusing on person centred active support, independence and strengths of each individual.

Our team of support workers are fully trained and competent in delivering High Intensity Supports such as Urinary Catheter care, Dysphagia support, PEG feeding and more.

All of our team, including the Director, hold relevant clearances and certificates to work in the disability and aged care sectors and we have many years of experience as a collective group.

We can support individuals in their homes with personal care, daily living activities, overnight support (passive and active), medication support, community access and transport assistance.

Applicants will need to have the following:

Police clearance
NDIS worker check
Disability in Certificate 3 or similar as a minimum
First aid certificate
Clear communication without accents
Experience supporting people who are non verbal
Knowledge of sign language and/or willing to learn
Full Driver's licence

We are searching for casual Disability support workers to join our team, specifically females at the request of female participants.

Shifts are varied, but predominantly are some weekdays from 0930 to 1500, evenings from 2015 to 2215 and some weekends.
Please note that some of our participants have pets, so if you have allergies to pet hair then this position may not be suitable for you. 😀

Workers must have all relevant clearances ( NDIS worker check, Police check, First aid , WWC check).
Driver's licence is mandatory as community access for participant is required.

-have good communication skills

0900 to 1130 to assist with transfers and personal care.
1300 to 1500 to assist with transfers and lunch.
1600 to 1800 to assist with transfers and dinner.
2015 to 2115 (paid for 2 hours) to assist with transfers and bedtime routine.
All shifts are 2 person assist for a female participant in West Lakes, so will ideally suit people who live local.

Must haves: NDIS worker screening, police clearance, first aid.
Female applicants only as per request of participant.
Experience using lifters is preferred, but not mandatory as ongoing training will be provided.
