Two BBQs this week as we couldn’t let our delicious salads we made go to waste 🤤. The trip to Millicent was enjoyed by all, and the sunshine was just what we needed ☀️. We spent some time at the playground, then headed off to Lake McIntyre where we fired up the BBQ and enjoyed our lunch amongst nature. We finished the day with a walk around the lake, spotting many birds, wallabies, and a blue-tongue lizard. Michael was pretty happy with finding a cute frog in a log along the walk aswell 🐸

This evening's sunset was stunning, and it was so nice to sit outside for our dinner 🌅 Conner definitely enjoyed his meal and a walk along the Port MacDonnell Jetty, soaking up the fresh air and scenery. 🌊😌

In June, we celebrated PRIDE month 🌈 focusing on honouring who we are and what we feel grateful for. Each month, we choose a theme, and at the end of the month, we hold a party. These parties give us the chance to get in the kitchen, prepare food, and make special treats. They also allow participants who have some complex behaviours around food to sit, share, and try different foods they wouldn't normally have, which has been a great success for everyone 💙We can't wait for our next theme: crazy hair and crazy socks.

A bit late posting... Last month, we prepared a delicious chicken and beef roast with some scrumptious vegetables for our wintry Christmas in July party. We played games and finished the day with a homemade pavlova and a beautiful Christmas cake that the participant created with the support of their amazing team 🎄☃️❄️
