🍁 Legume Pasta Salad with roasted cherry tomatoes, olives and goats cheese
🍁 Spiced Sweet Potato, Pumpkin and Date Salad
🍁 Rocket Greens and Pomegranate Salad
🍁 South African Melk Tart
Hubby will be in charge of Swedish Christmas Ham, Turkey and prawns.

The constant snacking between meals means we are having constant insulin spikes throughout the day, creating a fat storage mode. In a healthy person I recommend a gap of 3 hours between meals for better digestion and to keep our insulin levels low. The composition of meals are just as important keeping main meals made up of proteins, healthy fats, loads of vegetables and a bit of low GI carbs to keep insulin levels low, provide satiety and longer slow releasing energy.

Don’t forget your afternoon snack. I recommend this time of day to include your healthy fats, in my meal plans your afternoon snack will include these fats. This will pre ent you from overeating in the afternoons. We need healthy fats to provide satiety, healthy skin structure, support female hormones, to maintain a healthy cholesterol.
