Today is International Day of Play, and this week is Infant Mental Health Awareness Week.

This year’s themes invite us to consider..
💭 How does your child like to play?
Do they love movement? Building? Pretend play? Books? Nature? Sensory exploration?

When we notice, join, and enjoy the play our children choose, we’re practising attunement + building connection through play.

These moments of connection help support communication, emotional wellbeing, and healthy development.

This week, get curious about your child’s play. What captures their attention? What brings them joy?

Protecting play means protecting the relationships and experiences that help children thrive.

We are thrilled to welcome Lia to our NP team! Lia has capacity for new referrals in the Holdfast Bay area (suburbs within 5km of Glenelg).

Lia has extensive experience providing a holistic and collaborative therapeutic approach with emphasis on parent coaching. As a parent of a neurodivergent child, Lia brings lived experience and the understanding that connection, compassion and meeting families where they are at is the key to empowerment and progress.
