A very well-deserved recognition for our wonderful P.A.R.T.Y. Program Trauma Ambassador, Georgina! ๐Ÿ’™
Congratulations on receiving Brain Injury SAโ€™s 2026 Embrace Life After Brain Injury Award, an incredible acknowledgement of Georginaโ€™s strength, advocacy and the impact she continues to have on others.
We are so fortunate to have Georgina share her story with students through the P.A.R.T.Y. Program. Her honesty and willingness to speak about her lived experience of brain injury leaves a lasting impression on the young people she meets and is such an important part of helping them understand the real-life consequences of risk-taking and the choices they make.
Congratulations Georgina, so very well deserved! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’™

One choice can change your life forever.

August is Rural Road Safety Month, and P.A.R.T.Y. Program SA is proud to support the Australian Road Safety Foundation in raising awareness of staying safe on our regional roads.

This year, P.A.R.T.Y. Program is travelling to more regional schools than ever before, sharing powerful messages with young people about making safe choices behind the wheel.

Regional roads often mean higher speeds, longer distances and greater risks, but one safe choice can make all the difference.

Let's make every journey home a safe one. ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’™

We're back in Mount Gambier! ๐Ÿš‘๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿš—

This is our second visit to the region this year, and it's fantastic to see more schools hearing about the P.A.R.T.Y. Program and reaching out to get involved.

This trip we'll be welcoming students from two schools that have never participated before, giving them the opportunity to experience the program inside Mount Gambier Hospital and hear from local healthcare professionals and emergency services.

Learning firsthand how things can go so tragically wrong in a single moment and how to look after your mates and get home safely, every day. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿฉท

๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’›โค๏ธ Last month we were proud to welcome regional and remote Aboriginal students to Flinders Medical Centre as part of SAASTA Week, thanks to the support of the Department for Education.

While the P.A.R.T.Y. Program is all about empowering young people to make safer choices, we also give students the opportunity to experience a hospital environment firsthand.

Throughout the day they met paramedics, nurses, doctors, police, allied health professionals and many others working across the healthcare system, providing valuable insight into the many career pathways available while experiencing the powerful trauma prevention messages of the program. ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’›โค๏ธ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฉบ

Each P.A.R.T.Y. Program includes an important presentation with the DonateLifee team, giving students the opportunity to learn what organ and tissue donation really means.

For many young people, applying for a driver's licence is the first time they've been asked about organ donation. Our aim is to ensure they understand what they're saying "yes" to and the incredible impact that one decision can have on the lives of others.

We're proud to partner with DonateLife to help raise awareness, encourage informed conversations and inspire the next generation to make educated choices. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ

๐Ÿ›ด๐Ÿšฒ Have your say on the future of e-scooters and e-bikes in South Australia! ๐Ÿ’ฌ

At the P.A.R.T.Y. Program, we see firsthand how quickly life can change when things go wrong on our roads and shared paths. As more people use e-scooters, e-bikes and other personal mobility devices, it's important that the rules help keep everyone safe.

The Department for Infrastructure and Transport is reviewing the current laws and wants to hear from the South Australian community.

Whether you use these devices regularly, have shared the road with them, or simply have an opinion on how they can be used more safely, your feedback is valuable.

๐Ÿ“ Complete the survey here: https://yoursay.sa.gov.au/pmd-ebike-rules-review
โฐ Surveys close Sunday, 16 August 2026.

Together, we can help shape safer roads and pathways for everyone. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’œ
