πŸŽ“ The transition from student to clinician isn't always easy.

Most new graduates enter the workforce thinking they need to have all the answers from day one. However, the clinicians who continue to grow are often those who remain curious, ask questions, seek guidance, and embrace lifelong learning.

Remember:
βœ… You are allowed to make mistakes.
βœ… You are allowed to ask for help.
βœ… You are allowed to not know everything yet.

Confidence doesn't come from graduating. Confidence comes from experience, reflection, and having the courage to keep showing up, even on the days where you feel unsure.

Learning to tie shoelaces can feel like a big knot to untangle for little hands. Here are some simple tricks to make it easier:

🌈 Use two-coloured laces to help kids see which lace goes where.
πŸ”„ Pick one method and stick with it - consistency is key!
🧩 Break it down step by step and celebrate each win along the way.
πŸͺ’ Think big before going small - practise with a rope or skipping rope first to build confidence and coordination.

If shoe tying is still proving tricky, our OTs are here to help with personalised strategies and support! πŸ‘ŸπŸ™Œ

Our Craft Group has been an ongoing highlight for both our clients and facilitators on Saturday mornings ✨🎨
Over several successful years, this group has continued to grow, evolve, and adapt alongside the needs, interests, and goals of the participants. From creativity and connection to building confidence and independence, each session looks a little different as the group progresses together.
Here’s a little insight into what our Craft Group looks like now and the meaningful moments that make it so special πŸ’›πŸ–ŒοΈ

During this time, Kaitlin will be working alongside our team to develop her skills and gain hands-on experience in occupational therapy practice. We’re looking forward to supporting her learning journey and having her as part of our service. ❀️

Please join us in giving her a warm welcome! πŸ‘

A fun fact about her is that she’s a big fan of Star Wars and enjoys playing violin and ukulele in her spare time! 🌟 🎻
