Yesterday, Maree set herself a goal and absolutely smashed it by going for a walk on the sand. It might seem like a small thing to some, but when you’ve been working through mobility challenges, every milestone represents determination, resilience and confidence.

The smile on her face said it all, and I couldn’t have been prouder to be there cheering her on.

Here’s to celebrating progress, no matter what it looks like, and supporting people to keep doing the things they love. 🌊☀️

Learn new skills ✅
Last week a client and I headed to Sewing for beginners! A group activity which provides you with the sewing machine, fabrics to use and helpful advice and guidance from the volunteers! $4 for a two hour class where you learn a new skill, meet new people and can have a tea or coffee in their lovely facilities! An excellent way to spend your time!
If you want to find more activities in your local community centre, grab a copy of the program either online via the council website or drop into your local community centre.
