✨ 🧠 Curious about developmental education? It is a great time to reach out to chat about what support can look like for you, your child or your family!

🏃‍♂️ We have availability now with our incredible team across Adelaide.
Our favourite areas to support people with are understanding your diagnosis (like what neurodiversity means for you), wholistic family support, PDA support, executive functioning skills, social confidence and daily living skills (but DEs can also do so much more!!). 🤩

We are absolutely feeling the concerns about the upcoming changes relating to Early Intervention and access to the NDIS. We are feeling overwhelmed and anxious from a parent perspective (our team has 5 children under 8 currently receiving NDIS), but also from our professional perspective. We believe so strongly in the work we do and the support that we offer children and families. No matter what happens, we will aim to adapt around changes to ensure that families continue to feel validated and supported by us for as long as we can. 🫶

What matters to you, matters to us. Always. ✨

December 10 is coming!
There are big changes coming to how our kids and teens use the internet and new laws with restrictions on social media for children under 16. 💻 We emailed all of of our current families with tips and tricks to prepare our kids for the change and guidance around replacing the dopamine hits from social media in screen-free ways. If you would like some ideas to get you started on how to support your child with their new normal, leave a comment and we will send through our list of ideas to try! 🙋‍♀️

The final member of our team is our gorgeous Allied Health Assistant Emma who is on track to finish her masters to register as a DE in July! Emma has the warmest and most nurturing soul 🫶 Emma loves working with children and bringing out the best in them. She is so wonderful at recognising the good in others and helping people see the best parts of themselves to build their confidence. We feel so lucky to have Emma on our little team 🌟

Our senior developmental educator and counsellor, Sarah, who loves a craft session and a chat more than anything (she’s even got teen boys into craft - true story!) 🧵 Sarah has so much passion for supporting families with disabilities, especially ensuring that mums and carers feel validated and supported in their journey. Sarah feels so lucky and blessed to spend so much time with incredible people and call it ‘work’. Being a developmental educator is her absolute dream job! 🫶✨

One of our incredible Allied Health Assistants, Lauren! The job title honestly doesn’t do Lauren justice - she has such an incredible background and wealth of knowledge. Lauren is also our resident Auslan queen and deaf advocate 💪 Laurens stamina, determination and sense of justice is just incredible to watch and she is such a force to be reckoned with! If you’ve ever needed an extra set of hands to help navigate complex situations or advocate for your child Lauren is exactly the person that you want beside you! We are so thankful for your hard work and absolute dedication to your families Lauren 🫶✨

Lauren is also counting down the days until she can register as a DE….masters graduation approaching in 2026! 🎓

In honour of DE week, we want to celebrate our gorgeous senior DE Meg ☀️

Meg is an absolute ray of sunshine and so passionate about supporting children and families to reach for the stars. ✨ Meg loves to celebrate all the big and little achievements with her families and she will absolutely go the extra mile in the face of a challenge. We feel so lucky to have such an incredible practitioner and generally amazing person on The Tribe team!

Sometimes the stars align and you cross paths with people who share all the same vibes and values 🫶 We are so excited to have Emma join our team to continue to spread support to even more families ✨

Emma is currently working as one of our level 2 Allied Health Assistants while she finishes the last few months of her Masters degree to register as a DE. She is working across a few areas in Adelaide and she has spots still available for new families 👏

✨ Remembering that we are the safe havens for our children where they can share the heavy things and the hard things, even when it feels heavy and hard for us. 🫶 Their security in the connection they have with us can withstand any mistake, misjudgement or problem that feels too big to face alone.

🎉 July is our birthday month

Things are looking very different now than they used to be! So blessed beyond words for our amazing team and our incredible community of families. ✨

The absolute best gift has been some incredible conversations with families over the last few weeks about our support and how we can improve to make an even bigger impact. The general consensus has been incredible:
