After hearing about the difficult situation in Nepal, Louise was genuinely concerned and wanted to know how she could help.

She shared that she and her family were thinking of everyone affected and standing with the Nepalese community during this challenging time.

Her concern was heartfelt, and seeing how deeply she cared was incredibly moving.

As September begins, our Founder & CEO, Madeeha Usman, reflects on a question that becomes increasingly important as organisations grow:

How do we grow without creating distance from the people we support?

Growth brings opportunity, more people we can support, stronger teams, new locations and better systems.

But it also brings responsibility.

Because in disability support, the real measure of growth isn’t simply how much bigger an organisation becomes. It’s whether the quality, connection and understanding that shaped it can grow alongside it.

For Care Assure, that means participants should continue to be known as individuals, not names on a roster. Our teams should remain connected to the purpose behind their work. Quality should remain consistent wherever support is delivered. And as systems evolve, it should never become harder for someone to be heard.

Learn what makes me comfortable.
Give me time to do things in my own way.

You don’t have to turn everything I do into a big achievement.
