We're always told to put the past behind us, that the past can hold us back and yes it definitely can, but today we're being reminded to reflect on important lessons that have come to pass. It's okay to reminisce on the past in a healthy dose.
Look at where you were but more importantly how far you have come. What strengths have you gained? What kind of growth have you experienced? And how has that shaped who you are today? It is important to acknowledge both good experiences and the bad. Remind yourself that you have overcome every obstacle, every challenge you've faced and you made it through. Leave the negative experiences in the past but carry on the growth and lessons well into the years ahead of you and cherish the precious moments that warmed your heart and made you smile.
