From scared of the kitchen to crafting premium EVOO, meet Alec, founder of It's Olio AU . 🫒

Alec never cooked. He was always eating out or reaching for pre-made meals. It wasn't until a cooking class in Sicily, where his teacher walked students through local markets each morning, teaching them to shop by season and feel for ripeness, that something shifted.

That's where olive oil went from a pan greaser to something with history, tradition, and meaning.

"You won't find a restaurant in Italy where it's not on the table. It's such a staple part of the meal."

His mum is a Home Ec teacher, deeply skilled, with recipes that still intimidate him. But Alec found his own relationship with food: cook for the joy of it. Keep it simple. Make it playful.

His squeeze bottle was born from that same philosophy: bright, beautiful, and designed to take the stress out of cooking and put the fun back in.
