Dr David Kitchen, lower limb orthopaedic surgeon, will be consulting monthly at the Port Pirie Regional Health Service, corner of The Terrace and Alexander Street, Port Pirie.

His first clinic started this week, and David looks forward to serving patients in the broader Mid-North community.

Dr Kitchen specialises in hip and knee replacement, revision joint replacement, and lower limb sports injuries, including ACL and meniscal injuries.

Our Home Care Physiotherapist, Kylie Webber, came across a few traffic delays on her way to visit a patient this week.

Kylie travels across Adelaide helping patients recover from surgery, improve mobility and maintain their independence, all from the comfort of their own home.

It's a role that combines clinical expertise, practical support and plenty of adaptability.

Some days that means navigating traffic.
Other days ... it's kangaroos.

Our physios are no strangers to supporting athletes on the international stage… although not always one that’s 10 metres high 😲

sportsmed physio Anita Bruce (pictured far right) recently travelled to Fort Lauderdale with the Australian Diving Team for the Canada and America Cups ahead of the Commonwealth Games.

A fantastic opportunity for Anita, reflecting the hard work and dedication she’s put into supporting athletes at the highest level of their sport.

Safe to say the physio table doesn’t usually come with that much altitude.

We said “plastering training”… the team heard “free casts” 👀

Our casual orthopaedic nurse Alannah Matthews recently undertook 1:1 plastering training with Katrina, learning from one of our most experienced orthopaedic nurses, as part of our ongoing focus on developing clinical skills and maintaining high standards of care.

Plenty of volunteers were willing to lend a hand… mainly for the signatures 🖊️

Saturday 25 April
Physiotherapy: 8.00am – 1.00pm
Sports Doctors & Jones Radiology: 9.00am – 5.00pm

All other sportsmed clinic locations will be closed.

We take this time to pause and remember those who have served.
