A restorative movement workshop with Pilates & Movement Expert, Bec Fletcher
Many of us spend our days juggling work, family, exercise, and life's ongoing demands. Over time, this can leave the body feeling tight, fatigued, and stuck in a constant state of "doing", even when we're trying to rest.
Release & Restore is a thoughtfully designed workshop for people who value their health and wellbeing and want to better understand how to support recovery, resilience, and long-term movement quality. Through a combination of gentle movement, mobility work, release techniques, and education, you'll learn practical strategies to help your body recover more effectively and feel its best.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop may be particularly beneficial if you:
- regularly experience muscle tension, stiffness, or areas of recurring tightness
- feel physically or mentally fatigued despite exercising and looking after yourself
struggle to switch off, relax, or recover well between busy periods
- enjoy Pilates, yoga, walking, strength training, or other forms of exercise and want to complement your routine with dedicated recovery practices
- are interested in healthy ageing and maintaining mobility, energy, and vitality through your 40s, 50s and beyond
- would like to better understand the connection between movement, stress, recovery, and overall wellbeing
What will you gain?
By the end of the workshop, you'll have a deeper understanding of how your body naturally restores and repairs itself, along with practical tools you can incorporate into everyday life.
You can expect to:
- feel more relaxed, grounded, and physically at ease
- improve awareness of where and why tension accumulates in your body

- discover ways to support recovery from exercise, stress, and busy lifestyles
- improve circulation and movement quality
- gain strategies to help calm the nervous system and promote restorative recovery
- leave with simple practices you can continue at home to support your long-term health and wellbeing
Along the way, Bec will explore the fascinating science behind recovery and restoration, including:
- the parasympathetic ("rest and digest") nervous system
- the vagus nerve and its role in regulation and resilience

- active recovery versus passive rest
- how movement can help reshape habitual tension patterns
