I think sometimes it’s easy to forget there’s an actual person behind the tattoos you see on this page.

So here’s a little glimpse of me outside of the tattoo chair. 🖤

FROM STENCIL TO FINISHED BACK PIECE.

This 1930s gangster-inspired black and grey realism piece took 3 full days to complete.

Across the top is:

FAMILIA SUPRA OMNIA
Family above everything.

When I’m working on a piece this large, I like to work section by section, completely building each area before moving onto the next.

There’s a lot that happens between the first stencil and the finished tattoo — hours of shading, building contrast, refining details and making sure all of the individual sections work together as one piece.

So I wanted to show you a little more of that process.

COVER UP

Connor originally got this Jason Voorhees tattoo when he was just 18. Years later, he decided it was time to give it a new life — with the goal of eventually turning his arm into a full horror-themed sleeve.

This one definitely came with its challenges. The original tattoo had most of Jason’s mask cut off, so we had to extend the design to bring his other eye into the piece, while still working around and incorporating the original mask holes that were already tattooed.

Cover-ups aren’t always straightforward, but with the right approach, there’s usually a way to transform an old tattoo into something you’re proud to wear again.

I think this one turned out pretty damn good! 👀

Thanks for trusting me with it, Connor. Now we can start building that horror sleeve! 🖤
