There are so many versions of motherhood. 😌

The exhausted mums.
The first-time mums.
The mums holding families together quietly in the background.
The mums navigating teenagers, hormones, work, life and everything in between.
The women longing to become mums.
The women missing their mums.

Today can hold joy, exhaustion, grief, gratitude and love all at once.

However today feels for you, we see you.

Happy Mother’s Day from us. 😘💚

As the old saying goes … when one door closes, another one opens!

Recently we said goodbye to Kayla as she shifts her focus towards the final year of her Honours degree at Uni. 😔

We’re so grateful for the time she spent with us at The Bod Squad. Her smile, happy conversations and beautiful energy became such a lovely part of our clinic and we know many of you will miss seeing her at the front desk as much as we will. 😌

We’re sending her all our love and we know that her future will be as bright as she is. 😊

So, after a little searching, yesterday we excitedly welcomed Jenny for her very first day with us. 👏🏼

New job, new systems, new faces… definitely a big learning curve, but she’s already bringing such a warm and friendly presence to the clinic (plus a pretty wonderful smile too). ☺️

We’re so happy to have Jenny join our team and can’t wait for you all to meet her over the coming weeks. 💚

With Mother’s Day this weekend, we wanted to spend this week acknowledging mums, not just for what they do, but for the reality of modern motherhood too.

✨The balancing act.
✨ The sleep deprivation.
✨ The ongoing physical changes.

The fact that many women are trying to juggle work, family, life and everyone else’s needs all at once.

Some of these statistics are confronting… but for many mums, they’ll probably feel very familiar. 💚

Things will look a little different in the clinic over the next couple of weeks 💚

I’m heading away with Lis for her last Age Nationals (which still feels pretty special), so we’ve made a few changes to our hours while I’m away.

We’ve set things up so there’s lots of support in the clinic. Carly is here for her usual sessions, and I’ll be in over the next 2 days before I head off.

All the details are in the slides so you can easily check what’s happening and plan ahead if you need.

If you’re trying to get in touch while reception is a little quieter, just give us a call and leave a message or send an email — we’ll be checking in regularly and will get back to you as soon as we can.

Back to normal hours from the 20th 😊

Walking might not feel exciting, but it’s one of the most useful things we can do for our bodies.

In clinic I often see women who feel stiff, sore or tight and one of the first things we look at is simply how much movement is happening in their day.

You don’t need extreme workouts to support your body.

Often it’s the small, consistent habits that make the biggest difference. A short walk, fresh air, and moving your joints regularly can go a long way.

How often do you manage to get out for a walk during the week? ☺️💚

It’s never work when you love what you do. 💚

What a weekend in Adelaide 🌸 Sunshine, warmer air, and so many people (including me!) out in their gardens. After months of grey skies, it felt so good to soak up some much-needed vitamin D.

As a chiropractor, I can’t help but think about what that sunshine is doing for our bones, mood, and energy. Vitamin D is the key that helps your body absorb calcium, without it, bones can become weaker over time. For women, that’s especially important once we hit our 30s and bone density naturally starts to decline.

The challenge is… many of us come out of winter with low vitamin D levels. Shorter days, more time indoors, and less sun on our skin all add up. That’s why spring is the perfect time to top up naturally and reset those levels for the months ahead.

☀️ In Adelaide, 10–15 minutes of sun on your arms and face, a few times a week, is often enough. A coffee break outside might be doing more for your health than you realise!

There’s more to the story though; food sources, barriers, and why women need to pay particular attention to their vitamin D levels.

✨ Swipe through the carousel to learn more and give your bones (and your whole body) the boost they deserve.
