Eating 1,000 calories and still not losing weight? Your body isn't broken. It's protecting you. 👇

Your metabolism isn't a calculator — it's a survival system. When you eat too little for too long, your body downshifts to protect you. 🛡️

Resting metabolic rate drops. Thyroid output slows. You subconsciously move less. You feel cold, constipated, bloated. Cortisol rises — and high cortisol means more fat storage, especially around the belly, more cravings, worse sleep, and muscle breakdown.

This is called metabolic adaptation. It's not a flaw. It's your body doing exactly what it's designed to do. 🧠

Walking is great for general health, but it’s not enough to significantly improve insulin sensitivity in this phase.
Resistance training helps muscles absorb glucose more efficiently — even without weight loss.

🍒Pomegranate extract isn’t just pretty — it’s in Menomize Complete because of what your gut can do with it.

With the right bacteria, it converts into urolithin A, which researchers are pretty obsessed with right now for how it supports mitochondrial health.

And yes, your mitochondria age too. That declining energy and slower recovery in peri and menopause?

That’s partly them. So we put it in 🫶

Your metabolism needs to trust you again 🤍

Years of dieting, skipping meals, and over-exercising can leave your body in a stressed state.

Extreme changes don’t fix this — consistency does.

When you combine under eating + overtraining + stress ⚡️

Your body shifts into a protective state.

This can lead to:
• bloating
• fluid retention
• elevated cortisol
• stalled progress

More effort isn’t always better.
