We’re excited to welcome Louise Bastian as our Community Manager for Northern Communities 💜

Louise has spent the past 10 years working across the non-profit and disability sectors, supporting people through cancer services, victims of crime programs and services for women experiencing domestic violence. With a background in Law and Psychology, she brings both strong advocacy and genuine compassion to everything she does.

Earlier in her life, Louise represented Australia in professional swimming and lived in South Africa - experiences that shaped her resilience, perspective and love of community.

What really drives Louise is a simple but powerful belief: every day, she wants to leave people in a better place than where she found them. She’s passionate about building strong teams, meaningful connections and supportive communities where people feel truly valued.

Outside of work, Louise is a proud mum to two very cool kids - the absolute loves of her life.

As the year gently winds down, we want to take a moment to send our warmest wishes to everyone in our community - the people we support, families, team members, partners and friends.

This in-between time is a chance to slow down, reconnect, and reflect on the moments of care, laughter and belonging that truly matter.
