END OF YEAR CELEBRATION

We have our upcoming annual participant celebration day, scheduled for Saturday the 12th of December from 10am - 4pm. It will be hosted at the Kilburn Football Club at Carol Martin Reserve, Blair Athol. Entry is free, and family and friends are welcome!

There will be organised games, door and raffle prizes, food and drinks (free sausage sizzle and $1 soft drinks), certificates, EF merchandise available for purchase and the return of the much-loved EF Band, led by Sam!

Empowering Futures are once again involved with the Salisbury Community Christmas Parade for 2026. On the 28th of November, come and join our float as we meet new people and showcase our beautiful family!

It’s free entry, and we will provide transport to and from if required. The parade runs from 10am-11:30am, along John Street.

As we approach the school holidays, the Saturday Group schedule for next term has arrived! Find your specific group and book in your weekends with us now via our website, or scan the QR code.

Saturday Groups are a great opportunity for you to come and meet some people your age and make important connections while doing fun activities. Build capacity and develop social skills through a 5-hour session every Saturday.

Congratulations to the Kilburn Inclusive boys on winning their second straight SANFL Inclusive League premiership!

What a fantastic achievement for our boys who have worked so hard all year to make this happen. They defeated Goodwood by 2 points, 2.5 (17) to 2.3 (15) to hold on for the win. After losing to the same team 2 weeks ago, it was a great bounce back performance by Kilburn. Well done boys!

Our Kilburn Inclusive footy team are playing in the 2026 SANFL Inclusive League Grand Final this Saturday at Richmond Oval, against Goodwood.

The match begins at 3:30pm, and is 4 x 12 minute quarters.

The boys are looking to win their second consecutive premiership, and would love as much support as possible to do so. We hope to see you all there!

Also, if you are looking for an alternative to Inclusive Footy, please consider trying our Adapted Footy program, which is for the lower skilled players. Learn to kick, handball and mark, in a friendly and completely non-competitive environment, on Mondays from 4pm - 7pm. Make connections and build capacity, while enjoying a basic training session on Aussie Rules weekly. Get in touch at the emails provided above.

Important update on our Adapted Football program!

Our sessions have changed from Wednesday afternoons to Monday afternoons, from 4pm - 7pm.

Please get in contact with us if you have interest in joining or would like to continue attending moving forward. It is a great opportunity for boys and girls of all abilities to make connections and develop basic football skills.

TERM 3 HOLIDAYS

The schedule for our Inclusive Holiday Program for term 3 is out, and available to book for activities on our website!

10-pin bowling, workshops, picnics, movies and bingo, among others, will help keep you busy during the holidays.

Spend time with friends and make connections, as well as developing several important skills and building capacity. Activities run from 9am-3pm unless specified otherwise. The listed price does NOT include money for lunch or extra activities, so bring extra if you require buying lunch. Transport to and from is provided if required.

NEW PROGRAMS COMING IN SEPTEMBER!

Empowering Futures are launching a new group of revamped programs, completely participant-focused and centred around specific skill-building activities. Cooking On A Budget, Yummy Bakes, Connections That Count, Pathway To Independence and Reach For The Stars are the five new programs coming in September this year. Head to our website for specific information for each program, and fill out the form on the website to register your interest in any of the programs. Our North group braved the cold and wet on Saturday for a day of lawn bowls! The focus was friendship, trying something new and developing new skills. The Inclusive Holiday Program has had a variety of different fun and engaging activities so far!
