Want to impact in the NDIS care related to children with disability under 9 years old?

This is a national survey aiming to generate evidence on families’ experiences accessing disability, health and education supports for children aged 0-8 years, co-design consumer-driven research priorities, and build transdisciplinary partnerships to inform the redesign of disability support systems.

The survey will be open until 30/09/2026

Speech Pathology Week 2026: Possibility to thrive

"Thriving is so much more than weight gain, it's feeling safe, nourished and loved. Every family does the very best they can for their child, but when circumstances interfere with a child's ability to eat, mealtimes can become a source of worry and stress. Feeding therapy not only helps a child grow, but a whole family to thrive". - Georgina Holloway, Senior Speech Pathologist and Clinical Lead

Speech Pathology Week 2026: Possibility to choose

"Children do best when they are given the autonomy to make their own decisions about what, how much and whether to eat. By allowing children to be guided by their own fullness and hunger cues we can create a safe and supportive mealtime environment where they can develop confidence and competence in eating at their own pace." - Nicola Gregson, Speech Pathologist

Speech Pathology Week 2026: Possibility to Grow

"Growth encapsulates so much more than weight. Growth crosses the lifespan - beginning at birth and not stopping until the last breath. Physical, mental and emotional nourishment and development is supported by a varied diet with lots of colours and textures. This can be really challenging for many adults and children, however, feeding therapy support is available to optimise intake and facilitate growth across all areas of development over the lifespan." - Dr. Emily Lively, Founding Director and Principal Speech Pathologist
